What is going on with Russian hacking and Cyber Security?
We have to have a healthy inquiry of all communities in the government. We have to respect the work of intelligence officials. It is vital to our National Security.
One question to ask is why the intelligence community was not instructed to commence an investigation before the election, when they were first directed to commence the investigation, and when did the intelligence community first become aware of the Russian hacking problem?
However, a valid point is why was the hacking by Russia was not brought to the attention of the media and the American people before the election.
This is not to say that the intelligence information is not correct. It just means that we need to see whether there were political reasons for minimizing what was going on with Russian hacking before the election and for the timing of the release of the intelligence information.
