Alexandria Ocasio Cortez was very upset because the law firm of Sweeney, Gallo, Reich & Bolz made so much money during the foreclosure crisis! Joe Crowley was involved in many business matters with Sweeney, Gallo, Reich & Bolz. Joe Crowley -as a Democratic Party leader – also was involved in the appointment of many Judges that decided foreclosures and some that denied child care expenses to mothers – namely, Judge Darrell Gavrin and Stanley Gartenstein.

Congratulations to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for defeating Joseph Crowley.

Although I do not agree with socialism, congratulations are in order for a successful campaign against corruption and politics as usual.

Joseph Crowley, a Democratic Party boss, was responsible for appointing Judge Darrell Gavrin and her JHO Stanley Gartenstein who denied child care expenses to a mother.

He then had the Judges in Queens hire his sisters and other close relatives as Court Clerks and saw to it that they received lucrative assignments from the Court.

He then was involved in many political appointments.

Isn’t it amazing that very few media outlets investigated the background of Joe Crowley and how he was responsible for many political appointments, including Judges?

Sweeney was appointed as Public Administrator in Queens County and raked in millions.

The law firm of Sweeney, Gallo, Reich & Bolz was responsible for raking in millions during the foreclosure crisis because of their association with the Democratic party.  Joe Crowley was the party boss.  Are we wondering why banks were not fined for the type of abuse that they inflicted and continue to inflict on homeowners?  Are we wondering why nothing was done to law firms like Steven Baum & Associates (in the past) and Rosicki, Rosicki  & Associates.  Steven Baum & Associates office was fined millions for engaging in foreclosure discrepancy and it is alleged that Rosicki, Rosicki & Associates engaged in fraudulent billing practices with Fannie-Mae.

Aren’t we wondering why bankers like Jamie Dimon, Judith Kent-Dimon, Julia Dimon, Laura Dimon and Kara Leigh Dimon are not in jail after all the times that JP Morgan Chase has been fined and all of the abuses the bank has engaged in?  Mortgage fraud, veterans fraud, credit card fraud, and violence during collections to name a few.

Although I do not know if socialism is the correct platform for the Democratic party,  and I do not support it, what is certain we need to end the corruption that exists in Congress.  There are many layers to peel because corruption and greed are rampant.

What Congress needs to do is go through each and every foreclosure and make sure if it was done legally.

Then although it may be too late to compensate the homeowner or allow them to save their homes, it may be possible to go after the attorneys and judges who assisted the banks in their unfair and questionable practices.
