It has been obvious for years that increases taxes were required for those earning over $200,000.00 to compensate for income inequality in our society.
Since when does the media require our President to interfere in ongoing investigations by the Justice Department?
Hatred and bigotry are condemned.
I do not know which group had a permit to march in Virginia. However, whatever group had the permit, the police and the government should have separated the groups.
Certain groups, the “firelighters” of the neo-Nazi’s and the anarchists should be condemned as they have no place in American society, and perhaps, the permit to protest should have been denied.
But certain groups on the Left are making it difficult for conservatives to speak at events and for any American to express views that contradict the “Left’s” social agenda.
Both sides were in Virginia for trouble and they found it.
The fact is the President should condemn hatred by certain groups, but he cannot speak to who should or should not be prosecuted in Virginia because there is an investigation that is ongoing.
The problem arises because both sides are seeking their share of what the middle class used to have and lost under President Obama. Our politicians refuse to see that there is no longer a middle class. Our politicians refuse to raise taxes on the wealthy because they receive substantial political contributions from them.
The societal issues arose because small business and capitalism were essentially not allowed to compete because our government allowed monopolies such as JP Morgan Chase to grow and failed to regulate them. The government saw these banks as “too big to fail” and their executives too “big to jail”. Everything is about money and power.
Our government did not think twice about suing Microsoft, but viewed Jamie Dimon as above the law” or JP Morgan Chase & Co., Inc.
Our government also allowed these big businesses and monopolies to contribute millions and billions to the campaigns of politicians, thereby denigrating the rights of the middle class and certain members of the middle class have become very angry..
This is a mess that needs a helping hand. We can start by ending bigotry, but we need dialogue and discourse to lead us to ending the violence and income equality.
We do not need socialism. We need a return to the free market, small business, and capitalism.
We need peace in our society, discourse, discussion, and not violence.
